Dear Professor Sayaka,
it is with profound shock that the terrible news of the Tsunami and the destruction that it brought to your country have come to us.
I and my family are terribly shocked and do send our most sincere sympathies to you and all the people of Japan and our friends.
My sincere condolences to Kai and Hans and I pray for their safety.
